Are you interested in generating business impact for one of Salesforce's fastest growing business units? The Small Business Global Demand Generation Campaigns team is looking for a Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of our growing Salesforce Starter and Pro self-service marketing motion!

This role will be responsible for helping grow awareness, product acquisition, and adoption to drive new customer logos for this emerging business, with a major emphasis on progressing Starter and Pro users through the customer lifecycle journey and creating cross-sell/up-sell opportunities for our sales collaborators. You will be responsible for partnering cross-functionally to help develop integrated campaigns strategies, including tactical recommendations and execution with an emphasis on cross-channel and scalable demand generation promotions, audience targeting, as well as helping to test and experimenting new and innovative channels and go-to-market tactics. This person and team will be held to high marketing standards including clear communication and documentation of our campaigns plans, clear articulation of goals, and tenacious measurement of return on investment. A successful candidate will work with global team members across product, sales, and marketing to dive deep in an effort to understand our SMB audience, and implement high-engaging campaigns that keep our customers and prospects best-interest in mind. A crucial aspect of this role is effective collaboration across matrixed organizations that support our business and a deep understanding of data and analytics. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in delivering results through integrated marketing strategies from top-of-funnel engagement and acquisition, to multi-channel nurture, and up-sell/cross-sell tactics. This role involves using actionable insights from data to inform planning, develop innovative marketing strategies aligned with the evolving business, to drive business outcomes on a global level.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working with SMB Marketing collaborators to help develop and contribute to a digital engagement and product adoption strategy fueled by various content/asset types, optimize and test across various digital channels, and deliver results that support Salesforce Starter/Pro growth goals.
  • Activate demand generation and customer lifecycle tactics across the digital funnel including email marketing, display, content syndication, paid social, etc. with an emphasis on developing and delivering customer centric email nurture campaigns into market in an effort to increase and accelerate product adoption.
  • Track performance of activations to provide data-backed insights to optimize programs, budgets, and find new opportunity areas.
  • Define and develop mechanisms for sharing metrics and reporting for all campaigns including lead generation, pipeline contribution and awareness metrics with business collaborators.
  • Identify new and innovative channels and promotional tactics. I.e. In-app notifications and nudges
  • Work with a global mentality to help our regional teams implement campaigns internationally where relevant.
  • Help establish digital benchmarks for campaign performance across channels to guide overall campaign strategies.
  • Gather and prepare insights via presentations and narrative style communicates that shows findings from initiatives to management and to the broader organization.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Demand Generation, Campaign, or Digital Marketing experience
  • Proven track record at driving business results through integrated digital campaigns and customer lifecycle marketing motions.
  • Ability to analyze data to make performance improvements and also communicate those insights in an easy-to-understand way
  • Experience in building marketing plans and recommendations at scale globally across a diverse set of marketing channels.
  • Ability to navigate large, matrixed organizations and align partners in a consistent direction.
  • Experience working with and collaborating with leadership across various levels within an organization
  • Track record for delivering results under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and experience translating analytical data into information team members are able to comprehend.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $132,800 to $182,600.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $121,800 to $167,400.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $132,800 to $182,600.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
