We are looking for a public policy professional to join Salesforce's Government Affairs team. The Government Affairs Manager would work directly on the Global Government Affairs and Public Policy team to represent Salesforce's interests in LATAM Southern Cone with a focus on Argentina and Chile Candidate will be based in Santiago de Chile and will have professional fluency in Spanish and English.

Activities/Responsibilities:

Work with a cross-functional team -- legal, sales, corporate communications, and technology security to develop policy positions supporting AI policy, cloud computing, enterprise software and digital transformation
Develop and manage relationships with key policy stakeholders: elected and government officials, academics, technologists and civil society
Directly advocate Salesforce legislative and administrative priorities for market growth
Represent Salesforce before trade associations, think-tanks, and industry coalitions
Conduct analysis and internal reports on political and regulatory issues relevant to Salesforce
Prepare external advocacy materials and position papers
Prepare briefings for executive interaction with policymakers and community leaders

Required Skills/Experience:

Professional fluency in Spanish and English
Graduate degree or equivalent experience in law, political science, international relations and/or economics (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Deep knowledge of the policy-making process in Argentina and Chile and technology policy, in particular AI, privacy, and cybersecurity
Experience working in or with government
Develop/present public policy positions before government or other key stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills/Experience:

Ability to work independently and take initiative, yet 100% devoted to the team
Experience working at a multinational technology company (preferred)
Experience collaborating with people across different cultures, departments and organizations
