We are seeking a VP to establish and lead a newly formed Brand Creative team that will set the creative foundations for Salesforce's evolved brand. This team will define and build out brand design systems, rollout companywide enablement, and solve ongoing brand challenges in partnership with our executive team. This role will report to the SVP, Global Brand & Creative.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of the Salesforce brand redesign, roadmap, and launch across the entire portfolio of businesses, solutions, and products
- Build and lead a team of groundbreaking designers, copywriters, and agency partners who develop all brand design elements, including visual, motion, digital, print design
- Create design systems and resources that enable accessibility and consistent usage of the brand across Salesforce's global ecosystem e.g. style guides
- Partner with Marketing and People teams to create brand assets for campaigns, events, and other activations targeted to customers, employees, recruits, and more
- Create a culture that inspires innovative and creative design work that is supported by data-driven practices
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in art direction and design in a creative agency and/or in-house
- Innovative, hands-on design skills with a world-class portfolio of branding work, including digital, print, interactive, website/mobile design and video
- Impactful presentation skills; ability to produce and pitch world-class strategic presentations to all levels of an organization
- Experience building and leading high performance creative teams
- Flexible with a strong sense of urgency; ability and drive to multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Collaborative with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Understanding of the relationship between business strategy and brand design, with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into innovative branding experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- BA or BFA in Art/Design

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $196,800 to $300,200.
