Join our C360 Preprod Infra Services team as a DevOps Architect and play a pivotal role in empowering 3,000 developers. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and peak performance of our critical preproduction test environments. This strategic leadership position involves shaping our technology roadmap, influencing key business and technology stakeholders, and collaborating with engineering leaders to design and implement highly scalable and secure solutions. We're looking for a candidate with exceptional technical expertise, coupled with strong analytical, leadership, influencing, and business acumen. This is a cross-functional role demanding excellent communication and the ability to build consensus across all engineering organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage automated test environments that represent production configurations to be used for integration, performance, and other testing needs of the organization
- Define and drive best practices in systems architecture, observability deployment, and configuration management
- Collaborate with various teams (Quality, SRE, Performance) to ensure test environments are highly available and reliable
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, systems diagrams, and other specifications
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and cost reduction
- Mentor and guide the team on architectural best practices
- Lead resolution and root cause analysis of complex technical problems
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with at least 3 years in system or enterprise architecture role
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce multitenant architecture and Hyperforce
- Strong knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of IAC principles including automation and orchestration tools
- Experience in building and maintaining complex systems in a containerized or serverless environment.
- Experience with CI/CD solutions (Github Actions, ArgoCD, CircleCI, etc.)
- Experience with Declarative Infrastructure - Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, TerraGrunt, etc.)
- Experience with various DB engines - relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Data Engineering practices - Data warehousing, Data Lakes, ETL pipelines and Analytics.
- Understanding of SRE principals, including monitoring, alerting, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and high availability requirements in enterprise environments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts
- A related technical degree required
In office expectations are 10 days/a quarter to support customers and/or collaborate with their teams.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $251,900 to $384,100.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
