Salesforce is seeking an enthusiastic Content & Social Media Marketing Lead to help grow the Salesforce brand awareness and pipeline for the French Market.
As a Content & Social Media Marketing Lead , your role will be to promote Salesforce brand and products at our Strategic events and through the development of relevant content for our events, website and social media channels.
You will be part of the Campaign Success team, which is covering Strategic Events, Content & Brand marketing and you will work daily hand-in-hand with the extended French marketing team (incl. Field Marketing, Press Relations, Government affairs, Partner marketing, Corporate communications, Internal communications), the EMEA Marketing team, French Executive team, Sales, Solution Engineers, Alliances teams as well as with external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content: Develop marketing content strategy in alignment with our brand messaging and demand generation objectives.
- Event content strategy, deployment, and communications:
- Develop our content strategy for our Strategic events (such as World Tours or Vivatech), our Cloud Summits, and Innovation Days, based on our key personas and industries, working with our French Strategic Events, Customer Marketing, and Demand Generation teams, as well as with our EMEA/US teams, to ensure alignment with our strategic topics and messaging.
- Deploy this content strategy across our events, build customer journeys at the event by persona, and coordinate the extended marketing teams working on the different content projects.
- Support Strategic Events communications strategy and execution (internal / external).
- Analyze other regions' Strategic Events content strategy to identify best practices.
- Content production for brand awareness and demand generation:
- Develop brand and demand generation content in partnership with marketing, sales, engineers, and communication teams to promote Salesforce brand, messaging, products, and generate demand - such as blogs, ebooks, blog articles, demos, videos, etc.
- Coordinate content stakeholders and ensure delivered content is fully aligned with go-to-market and business needs, content gaps in the funnel, content engagement performances, and make recommendations.
- Manage our internal Salesforce video Studio:
- Coordinate the production of video content in the studio with marketing, sales, SE, internal communications, Press team (interviews, podcasts, videos, webinars, etc.).
- Organize the planning with the different users, manage suppliers and costs, organize training for self-service use, coordinate with other internal teams, ensuring that we optimize its usage vs budget.
- Event content strategy, deployment, and communications:
- Social media: Build and deploy the social media strategy for France on all relevant social media channels, anchored in business objectives. This includes:
- Developing the editorial strategy in alignment with Salesforce brand and product messaging, key content, and events.
- Coordinating the editorial committee with the different stakeholders (Customer Marketing, Strat Events, Blog team, PR, Internal communications, HR teams, etc.) and coordinating content production and publishing.
- Driving the French Social Advocacy Strategy, spanning Execs, SMEs, and Employees, including management of Sprout platform and training.
- Managing France Social Media Agencies (for content/publication, design, community, advocacy and/or Influencer marketing), including QBRs, reports, and planning.
- Producing regular reporting and analysis of France Social Media KPIs, using Sprout platform for reporting & listening, presenting to teams, LT, and Execs, and recommending improvements.
- General:
- Manage projects in a collaborative and extremely fast-paced environment.
- Manage external agencies and budgets.
- Work with cross-functional internal teams in France or at Headquarters (marketing, PR, internal communications, sales, engineers, alliances etc.) and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programs.
- Master Salesforce communication tools and processes to execute communication strategies.
- Understand Salesforce's DNA, brand, and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to innovation and best practice.
- Regular communication and best practice exchange with EMEA and HQ counterparts.
Required:
- Min 5-8 years experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in content development and social media management with excellent copywriting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal professionally with all local and international stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation skills (in English as well).
- Knowledge of B2B communications, within the tech industry is a plus.
- Fluent in French and in English language.
- Positive attitude and a hearty appetite for hyper growth.
- Autonomy, proactivity, attention to detail, and good doer/team player mindset.
- Think out of the box.
