Royal Caribbean Group's Silversea Cruises Ltd brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Brand Marketing & Content Lead reporting to the AVP of Brand Marketing & Communications.

This position sits on-site in Miami, FL.

Position Summary:

The Lead works closely with the AVP of Brand Marketing and Communications, to create and execute compelling, consistent, and impactful brand marketing that supports Silversea's brand platform and positioning for today and the future.

This team member will strategically lead the development and execution of brand marketing initiatives and partnerships through disciplined management of the brand's creative, content and assets, in service of strengthening perceptions, creating a strong emotional connection, driving demand, engagement, and conversion.

You will work in partnership with the head of Brand Marketing architect brand strategy and managing day-to-day execution across a fast-paced organization.

You will be the brand ambassador and be responsible for the brand's architecture, positioning, and visual/verbal identity.

You will partner with the Creative Director for creating and managing the overall look, feel, tone and sound of the brand in marketing and assets.

You will be the point of contact for the creative agency in the development and delivery of creative concepts through execution across all marketing channels.

You will be a producer in collaboration with the head of Brand Marketing and Creative Director, developing programs to generate and feed our content engines, overseeing, and managing all internal and external production of photo, video and drone content on ship and land.

Your passion for creative and content will drive you to constantly seek new and innovative ways to tell stories.

You will lead a talented team of brand strategists, content creators and content managers to deliver across the marketing engine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute the creative vision for our brand platform informing all aspects of creative and brand expression.
  • Drive strategies of new to cruise and/or first to brand through the development of brand and content campaigns in partnership with internal and external agency partners ensuring a link between the business needs, brand strategy, creative idea, media needs and final executions.
  • Oversee and lead all productions and vendors including photo, video, and drone across ships and destinations creating a constant stream of assets and building a library of content (still/video) that aligns with our brand positioning and expression.
  • Consistently analyzing how content is being leveraged by channels and optimizing content capture plans accordingly.
  • Develop team and internal capabilities for content generation ensuring content exceeds brand standards.
  • Develop insight-driven briefs that inspire brand and content work.
  • Develop and drive brand and buzz building partnership activations, from concept to execution that elevate the brand while being grounded in commercial needs and business goals.
  • Partner with social team making sure that content capture program includes social-first content needs against their plans.
  • Lead the client-agency relationship including providing day-to-day direction on the work and ways of working, but also shaping and negotiation the annual scope of work.
  • Package analytics to implement a measurement process for brand marketing and content programs.
  • Under the direction of the head of Brand Marketing, manage agency and production budget between $3M-$5M annually.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • BA/BS required in communications or like field.
  • 4-6 years' experience in brand marketing, social media, public relations and/or communication field
  • Experience managing agencies and external vendors
  • Demonstrated track record of driving strategies and campaigns with agencies, cross-functional teams, and/or internal creatives/partners.
  • Strategic thought leadership, grounded in insights and research.
  • Experience developing and executing on unique communication programs and content that deliver results
  • Expert presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong management and leadership capabilities including the ability to provide strategic direction and motivation to agency and direct reports.
  • Relationship builder with ability to collaborate and lead senior level stakeholders and help resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience in content development with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and capable of working with minimal direction.
  • Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise high degree of tact and diplomacy in interpersonal. relations at all levels of the company, as well as with external contacts.
  • Ability to provide solutions under time constraints.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
