We are looking for Content Designers to join us on our mission to help build the most intuitive product experiences and make financial wellness accessible to everyone. The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting product content that enables users to understand the world of finance and all it has to offer. About the role:

We're looking for an experienced Content Designer to jump into our Options team with a mission to give the best, most trustworthy, and accessible options trading experience to customers.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to affect people's experience with advanced options and help them reach their financial goals in a very tangible way. You'll be joining a team dedicated to launching high impact, high visibility features and products a complex space. This is a place where you could have a huge impact by producing streamlined, intuitive experiences for our company and our customers.

This team in particular has a strong focus on simplifying the complex, translating and clarifying the nuances of options trading, and imbuing a human touch into every touchpoint. There is a second Content Designer dedicated to Options, so you'll have a strong partner to bounce ideas off of and align with.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with design, product, and research to build delightful user experiences from the ground up and shape the product roadmap
  • Work with a cross-functional team to build or iterate on new features and products
  • Engage throughout the product development process to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency
  • Create and advocate for approachable language that best communicates our mission and products externally
  • Develop frameworks, guidelines, audits, and processes to help define and improve product content at Robinhood
  • Balance customer experience and business impact with speed and quality
  • Incorporate user research into content decisions for product experiences
  • Ensure high-quality content for our products in terms of simplicity, education, usability, and delightfulness
  • Share your work with other Content Designers and share informed opinions during weekly crits

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in UX writing or content design experience
  • Proven ability to tackle complex subject matter
  • Eagerness to shape product direction and vision from ideation to post-launch
  • Experience defining, tracking, and reporting on content metrics and an ability to communicate this efficiently to the team
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting constraints
  • Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, engineers, and user experience researchers
  • Familiarity working with compliance and legal teams during the content development and approval process
  • A portfolio or selection of writing samples and past work to share

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
