The Data Science organization at Robinhood plays a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision making across the company—from product development and growth strategies to financial planning and operational improvements. As a Senior Analytics Engineer on this team, you’ll build the scalable data infrastructure that powers our insights, enabling teams to unlock the full value of our data. We partner closely with product, engineering, finance, compliance, and risk to ensure our data platforms are robust, accessible, and trustworthy.
In this role, you’ll lead the design and development of high-performance ETL pipelines, build intuitive and impactful dashboards, and develop tools that help scale analytics across Robinhood. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define metrics, ensure data quality, and support data-driven strategies. We are a fast-paced team in a rapidly growing company and this is a unique opportunity to help lay the foundation for reliable, impactful, data-driven decisions across the company for years to come.

What you’ll do
- Partner with product, engineering, and data science teams to define and deliver key data and analytics initiatives.
- Build and maintain robust, efficient ETL pipelines using tools like Airflow and Spark to support business-critical datasets.
- Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards and tools in platforms like Looker, Tableau, or Superset to scale access to insights.
- Create frameworks and reusable components that accelerate analytics workflows and enforce best practices in data modeling and data quality.
- Act as a thought partner in shaping metric definitions and promoting data-driven culture across the company.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a similar field.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python (including experience with PySpark or Spark SQL).
- Experience with modern data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) and data warehousing best practices.
- Strong background in building performant and user-friendly dashboards using tools like Looker, Tableau, or Superset.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub), CI/CD practices, and collaborative development workflows.
- Product intuition and a track record of partnering cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
