Robinhood is searching for an experienced, hands-on technical leader to build and scale our Salesforce Cloud solution to transform our Customer Support, Marketing, and Legal tooling experiences. We are looking for an engineering manager with 7+ years of proven experience leading Salesforce Engineers, has a strong sense of ownership, focus on reliability, and who is able to develop a technical vision for the future of Salesforce at Robinhood.

You'll join the Corporate Engineering leadership team as a Salesforce Engineering Manager, leading the effort to define the roadmap, engineering practices, integrations (first and third party), and scaling strategy for a rapidly growing Salesforce environment. You will work with Corporate Engineering and Security leadership to influence and design technology platform standards for all of Robinhood's IT systems, as well as providing coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities for engineers across the department.

What you’ll do

  • Build, lead, and grow a team of Salesforce Engineers that own and implement the technical roadmap and strategy for Robinhood's Salesforce Cloud environment
  • Own and manage the end-to-end Salesforce ecosystem at Robinhood while developing the implementation roadmap for any related integrations with Salesforce
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, and operations managers to align on a roadmap that ensures the Salesforce architecture is reliable, scaleable, and meets the needs of our customers
  • Own responsibility for execution on application development and delivery of critical initiatives relating to growing and managing Salesforce
  • Own the integration security and standards for Salesforce, working cross-functionally with teams to integrate Salesforce with custom built and third party systems
  • Set processes and expectations around change management, testing, quality, and our software development lifecycle

What you bring

  • 7+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer working in an enterprise environment, preferably with financial services companies
  • 5+ year of experience leading engineering teams, managing development capacity, on-call rotations, reliability standards, and development processes
  • Experienced in standard configurations in Salesforce and building custom applications and integrations at scale, a strong desire to learn custom solutions, and the experience to manage trade-off decisions
  • A strong bias towards action, willing to dive deeply with engineers to deliver on technical roadmaps, participate in on-call, and applying first-principles thinking to create solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence a large organization and growth within a team
