POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr Vice President, Americas, coordinates the country/regional technology needs of the Americas (US, Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam and Brazil) business functions for all brand and back-office needs. He/she represents and coordinates support of corporate initiatives in-country/region. He/she plans, administers and is ultimately responsible for managing all related regional IT activities. This role leverages existing and future platforms to provide consistency among foreign and domestic computing platforms and infrastructure. The position will be located in NYC and Bridgewater, NJ and includes operational duties for that entity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Responsible for meeting all of the system-related needs of the Americas organization. This ranges from monitoring day-to-day operations to design and engineering of new local systems as well as in-country/region coordination for corporate initiatives.

  • S/he will manage the regional team responsible for the development and support of local/regional infrastructure and applications.
  • Provides leadership in developing an integral partnership with Americas business partners and collaborates with the team to identify business requirements and develop optimal solutions to support local business needs.
  • Promotes, supports, implements, and educates North America and Brazil offices on the global/corporate systems solutions.
  • Aligns the priorities with the Americas' business partners for overall development of systems. He/she coordinates with counterparts in Commercial, e-Commerce, Supply Chain, Corporate, and Infrastructure to provide a balanced portfolio to meet the Americas' strategic and business needs.
  • Establishes and maintains continual communications across the organization - globally, interdepartmentally, and intradepartmental as it relates to executing their duties and coordinating overall needs.
  • Oversees the recruitment and retention of key mid-level personnel for Americas' regional teams. He/she is involved in the interview process and selection of senior level candidates and in the evaluation and release of non-performers.
  • Leads the development and execution of consolidated Americas strategic plans in conjunction with his/her peers, the representative business partners, and the CIO.
  • Oversees the development of Strategic IT planning for the Americas region. This plan will incorporate corporate initiatives and local initiatives. He/she prepares, in cooperation with the portfolio owners of the Americas, relevant business partners, budgets and related financial documents and is responsible for attaining a high ROI on new projects.
  • Sells new projects by supporting corporate business development efforts. Business Development support includes attending/facilitating client meetings, providing input for technical reviews, and participating in the capture/proposal process.
  • Tracks budgets, deliverables, and support requirements to ensure timely delivery of projects with high-quality projects on budget. He/She works with Senior Management to develop business plans recommending short and long-range objectives, which are consistent with organization guidelines and designed to develop a continuously growing stream of revenue and profit.
  • Supervises, leads, and mentors the Americas' Team in the development and delivery of innovative, high quality services to the customers, and is directly responsible for employee performance evaluations of supervised employees, stimulating professional and managerial growth in the process.
  • He/she develops regional TPG leadership / talent so they can create the strategy for each of their respective disciplines and align with other areas.
  • Requires travel 20% internationally
  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    Experience:
    • 10 to15 years of information technology experience in apparel applications development
    • 5 to10 years of experience in Operations/Infrastructure management
    • Demonstrated success in developing/managing a global IT support infrastructure that services the business and IT needs in multiple countries.
    • Successful design and implementation of apparel-related and retail systems to support global operations with a Minimum of 10-15 years managing IT systems for a global apparel organization.
    • Business Process and Project Management experience.
    • Proven success at developing and implementing strategic plans.
    • Strong IT background in design, programming and implementation of systems.
    • Strong IT background in infrastructure design and management
    • Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with the business.
    • Experience in the international and highly matrix environment.
    Education:
    • College Degree in computer science, engineering or business field is required.
    • Graduate Degree in Business (MBA) is preferred.
    Skills:
    • Must be a strong planner and manager, and have demonstrated skills in human relations dealing with a highly diverse workforce, domestically and internationally.
    • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
    • Experience working in a dynamic, multiple-brands environment

    Pay Range: $320,000 - $360,000
    PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements.
