What you will do

As an Associate Manager, FP&A, you will part of the Finance team for PGIM Private Capital (PPC). PPC is the global private fixed income business of PGIM.

In this role, you be supporting senior leadership and other key stakeholders in analyzing, evaluating, and reporting the financial performance of the business.

This position is based in our office Newark, NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.

What you can expect

  • Participate in the preparation of multi-year forecasts of revenues, expenses and assets under management.
  • Collaborate with the business and other key stakeholders on analysis of data and development of forecast assumptions.
  • Analyze and prepare commentary around trends and drivers of actual and forecasted data.
  • Support the creation of presentations and other reporting used to communicate the financial results of the business to senior management.
  • Support development of dashboards to enhance financial reporting.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis requested by business partners and senior management.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field.
  • 5+ years of prior working experience in finance function preferably in a Forecasting or Financial Reporting role, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates curiosity and interest in learning about the business and its key drivers.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires a high ethical standard and an ability to work with confidential information.

What will set you apart?

  • Prior working experience in financial services industry, banking, insurance industry and/or asset management is preferred.
  • CFA or MBA a plus

The salary range for this role is from $95,000 to $115,000 Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
