Prudential has an exciting leadership opportunity for a dynamic, results and service oriented individual to lead within ILI New Business Support. The New Business Support organization plays a critical role within the Individual Life application process. As an Associate Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of various New Business Support teams, accountable for administrative activities and the overall team's performance. In this Leadership role, you will also recognize, recommend, and implement operational improvements in a fast-paced environment and ensure adherence to day-to-day application of organizational policies and procedures. Building relationships with internal and external partners is foundational along with the delivery of exceptional service to meet Prudential's client experience standards.
In this role, some of the key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the daily operational performance of New Business Support teams
- Directly supervise 10-18 employees
- Maintain timely and accurate processing of work
- Focus on organizational talent development through coaching, training, and on-going employee development and recognition.
- Responsible for daily workflow coordination to ensure overall Service Levels, Production and Quality standards are met
- Manage offshore vendor relationships and results (where appropriate).
- Supports and promotes improved processes and best practices that enhance customer service, increase employee satisfaction, and decrease operational expenses.
- Drives initiatives within the organization and department with proven results.
- Demonstrate ownership, urgency, and responsiveness in assisting internal and external partners
Qualifications
- Self-motivated individual, with operational mindset and strong leadership skills
- Ability to work with a team to consistently exceed deliverables in a high-volume production environment
- Strong interpersonal, time management and organization skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills
- Experience leading virtual teams preferred
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
- Success in developing others and a strong focus on talent
- Ability to prioritize and change directions quickly
- Ability to build relationships, foster teamwork and support, evaluate and drive change across departments in support of meeting organizational objectives
The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. The on-site locations are Jacksonville FL, Fort Washington PA, Minneapolis MN.
Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $83,400.00 to $124,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
