Payroll Specialist Job description:
The Payroll Specialist position is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a periodic payroll, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.

Payroll Specialist Duties/Responsibilities:
• Collect and summarize timekeeping information
• Obtain supervisory approval of time card discrepancies
• Obtain overtime approvals
• Calculate commissions
• Process garnishment requests
• Process employee advances and paybacks
• Process and close periodic payrolls
• Print and issue paychecks
• Knowledge of employment laws for Federal, State and Local agencies
• Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the discipline
Payroll Specialist Requirements:
• ADP experience
• Multi-state payroll
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience
• Associates degree in business preferred
• Must be detail oriented
• Individual must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Payroll Specialist Schedule:
• Full Time (8:30a - 5:00p)
Payroll Specialist Compensation:
• Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
