Job Description
Sr. Supplier Engineering Manager is a unique leadership opportunity to lead the multisite team to drive engineering activities, focusing on identifying, developing, and implementing supplier performance improvement strategies to deliver the best quality products and services to our customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Partner with and influence R&D, Procurement, and other functions to develop and deploy the short/long-term supplier management strategy.
- Collaborating with engineering teams and suppliers to solve engineering issues, leading and driving proactive supply development activities (not limited to supplier-caused or design-caused issues).
- Develop or adopt best engineering practices for industrialization at suppliers for new product introduction (NPI/MLD) and post-launch sustaining activities.
- Mentoring and growing team, implementing development plans for high potential direct reports.
- Engaging and influencing site leadership and other stakeholders in the business.
- Addressing supply issues with a high sense of urgency and with the proper rigor.
- Maintenance of department budget and resource allocation.

- You have a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Master's Degree preferred).
- You have acquired 5+ years of experience as a people leader with a medical device company.
- You've spent at least 5 years in manufacturing engineering, Quality, research & development.
- You have hands-on Lean Six Sigma experience.
- You've been responsible for multisite operations.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $105,105 to $180,180 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
