Senior Product Industrialization Engineer will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to improving and saving lives around the world by focusing on the early stages of New Product Development for new Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGTD) - Intravascular Laser Atherectomy products/solutions.

This position offers great visibility to business stakeholders. Senior Product Industrialization Engineer is going to be a business leader and the voice of PI (Product Industrialization) for NPI's, Lifecycle projects, and Value engineering projects.

- Being a leader and mentoring junior engineers in areas of process control and automation as well as phases of a PDLM (Product Design & Lifecyle Management) project

- Initiating and executing on product industrialization activities including equipment selection, process development, process characterization and process validation, in support of new product development as well as design changes

- Representing the team in areas of DFx, and developing/applying tools such as value stream mapping, standard work and design for manufacturability, reliability, serviceability

- Driving and making data driven decisions on key performance indicators such as Cost of Goods, Yield, Output, Quality throughout projects and into commercialization

- Providing in-depth knowledge for problem solving linked to Manufacturing processes and equipment

- Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success

- Supporting internal manufacturing, external manufacturing, and manufacturing transfer projects

- Internal/Supplier collaboration in deploying/sourcing equipment, processes and procedures which promote a healthy, safe, and secure work environment

You're the right fit if you have a customer-first attitude and the following:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Computer Engineering, or closely related field

- 5+ years of experience in product development with a focus in automation. (Medical device manufacturing is preferred)

- Strong understanding of NPI projects, design transfer processes, and global Supply Chain operations processes

- Successful record of accomplishment, executing complex manufacturing or new product development projects / programs / improvement opportunities (timelines, quality, capacity, capability, cost, productivity some key metrics)

- Knowledge of manufacturing production processes, lean tools and techniques, and Six Sigma methodologies.

- Being competent in the creation, execution, and delivery in areas of process characterization, ATMV's, VTMV's, IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPQ

- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing production processes. Understanding of how new products and changes to existing products impact the product in the areas of cost, performance, quality, and throughput

- Demonstrated leadership skills in areas of coaching, communication, facilitation, team leadership and business management.

- Demonstrated success in working complex issues with cross-function team members to effective resolution

- Ability to effectively communicate to numerous stakeholders including senior management, other Business Groups, internal and/or external customers and staff

- Experience working with suppliers to resolve technical issues preferred

- Ability to learn quickly from others, recognize problems and take corrective action when appropriate

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $145,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
