The salary range for this role, based in New York is $130,200.00 to $162,700.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate's experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Revenue Growth Management team enables the organization to advance revenue management mindset and capabilities by providing insights, tools and capabilities to guide daily prioritization and strategic decision making.

The RGM Senior Manager as an extension of commercial finance partners with PR USA sales teams to identify revenue opportunities while driving a step change in RGM capabilities through guiding implementation of new tools, systems and processes. A successful candidate will enable the sales team in achieving overall performance ambitions with the best position in market of PRUSA brands.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

- Individual:

  • Lead efforts to identify routes of investment optimization and pricing position
  • Support Sr Director on RGM execution conversations and investment topics with senior leadership
  • Lead team through strategies that allow an efficient analysis of data and result on opportunities to optimize price and improve promotional effectiveness across the spirits portfolio
  • Oversee distributor investment management across divisions (Local Marketing Funds)
  • Responsible for management and reconciliation of distributor's pricing and margin agreements
  • Liaise with central pricing team to coordinate and execute national priorities
  • Identify opportunities for simplicity and efficiency in day-to-day pricing discussions as well as annual planning conversations
  • Lead ad hoc revenue management related projects with market and distributor teams. • Drive action and execution of business opportunities through collaboration with sales and finance teams and the use of data driven insights
  • Evolve, create and embed local market revenue management tools and capabilities
  • Facilitate Revenue Management mindset with sales teams and support best practice sharing across the PR USA organization

- Shared:

  • Liaise with Sr Commercial Finance Manager for each division to deliver NNS growth ambition
  • Lead the socialization and embedding of Revenue Management capabilities and tools across supported sales and finance teams
  • Collaborate in the development of revenue management annual planning materials and partner with local market and distributor teams in the integration of Revenue Management principals into the annual planning process
  • Support Revenue Management discussions with distributors and customers

Nature & Scope

This position reports to the Apollo and Gemini Sr Finance Director and is responsible to determine and execute the RGM strategy for the divisions. The senior manager interacts directly with Pernod Ricard USA sales teams, finance and with distributor counterparts.

This role is the center of expertise for Revenue Management for PR USA markets aligned with SGWS and leads execution topics with PR USA leadership teams.

The candidate and their direct reports (one Sr analyst and one Manager) guide local implementation of new tools, capabilities and processes with local sales teams. In addition, the Senior manager is center of expertise for local and national strategic pricing projects and initiatives while, in parallel, enabling local market teams to find price and promotion opportunities on a day to day basis.

The nature of the role requires exceptional data structuring and analysis skills as well as the ability to generate insights and recommendations even when only partial data sets may be available. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complicated concepts across all levels of the business are a must. It is critical for the individual in this role to embrace cross-functional ways of working and to have strong relationship building and influencing skills. A self-starter who is highly organized and has a revenue management background is preferred.

Key Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related analytical field.

- Experience / Background:

  • Strategic leader with experience leading teams of 2 or more people
  • Five or more years of experience in analytical roles within consumer products or beverage companies
  • Ability to build financial models from disparate datasets
  • Outstanding analytical ability & commercial acumen
  • Past roles in sales and/or commercial finance
  • Experience with pricing and/or revenue management
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to influence others
  • Strong communication and change management capabilities
  • Proficiency in a range of analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, Hyperion, etc.)
  • An ability to learn new tools and systems
  • Knowledge of syndicated consumer data a plus

Working Conditions

General Office: Work is performed in a typical office environment. Limited demands for movement and lifting. Normal visual, hearing and language acuity required for correspondence and computer usage.

  • Travel estimate: 25% of time.
