Transformation Sr. Manager - Organizational Change Management - Training Program Manager

Overview

As part of the Transformation organization, the Training Program Manager will join the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team for a major multi-year SAP ERP system implementation. We are looking for an experienced learning development professional with advanced knowledge and experience leading SAP S/4HANA training program management, multi-model training content development, learning management systems and measuring training effectiveness to enhance the skills, knowledge and capability of employees across PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) and PepsiCo Corporate teams.

Responsibilities

This position will bring forward a best-in-class SAP S/4HANA training program, associated learning solutions and content/curriculum curation that meets the needs of adult learners, partnering with key stakeholders across the business. This position will have shared responsibilities between two areas of the North America SAP program and report to the Transformation Director, Organizational Change Management. This position will diagnose opportunities, conduct learning needs analysis and provide solutions to enable sustainable training. Preference will be given to a leader with a track record of leading SAP S/4HANA user-centric training for transformation projects and experience with program management and team leadership. Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall software development methodology is preferred.

  • Owns and drives the overarching training program strategies and plans for PGT PQGC and PGT PBNA, as well as manages the ongoing refinement of the training plan including but not limited to the vision, scope, schedule, resources and coordination for training development, delivery and documentation
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders in the organization, including but not limited to PMO, IT and leadership; gathering and reporting feedback to develop and adjust plans, including activities, responsibilities and success measures
  • Provides timely and accurate tracking of progress and status updates on a recurring basis in accordance with PMO guidelines
  • Leads the Training Needs Analysis in partnership with OCM managers, assesses gaps, and provides solutions that address training needs
  • Facilitates and implements training technology requirements including but not limited to:
    • Partnering with program IT leadership and PMO to coordinate access to SAP environments
    • Evaluating use cases for WalkMe, in partnership with Global OCM and WalkMe business teams
    • Evaluate and propose options for additional training technologies (e.g., Assima, etc.)
  • Leads overall curriculum planning and course to role mapping in partnership with OCM Data team, ensuring that training is correctly assigned to end users in the business
  • Focus on designing and developing curriculum plans that are comprehensive, scalable and sustainable
  • Enables training delivery by establishing a resource plan for trainers and overseeing the schedule and coordination of training activities
  • Leads training communications in partnership with Communications team
  • Effectively leads a team of training resources including outside contract developers and offshore resources; ability to effectively allocate training resources to move content development forward
  • Drives capability training development vision and strategy through partnership with program team members, including train-the-trainer, design, and delivery of learning content
  • Stays up to date on trends and best practices to improve performance and engage the modern learner, incorporating innovative solutions into content design and development recommendations
  • Evaluates and monitors the effectiveness of training programs and follow-up support tools/processes; delivers training metrics and associated reporting

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100 based on a full-time schedule
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in related field such as Adult Learning or Org Development & Leadership; preference given to Master's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of Learning and Development experience with 5+ years' experience leading SAP S/4HANA training programs; specializing in managing training content development, curriculum and learning management system programs
  • Strong knowledge and experience with design thinking, instructional design, learner analysis and the end-to-end learning process, i.e., learning evaluation and needs assessment, program design, develop and delivery
  • Deep knowledge of learning technologies (Articulate Storyline, Rise/360, LXP and LMS systems, etc.)
  • Proven people manager to oversee workflow and boost employee / contractor efficiency and performance
  • Prior experience in instructional design/change management experience, preferably focused on building capability within a diverse employee population
  • Preference for agile and waterfall software development and/or system implementation experience, ideally ERP
