RPA Finance Analyst

Overview

This is a Hybrid position.

This RPA Finance Analyst Role is responsible for developing robotic process automations (RPAs) to improve efficiency across Global Business Service Control North America, primarily supporting financial functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, T&E and Payroll. This position will build new automations in UiPath within the published governance framework and controls as well as maintain and sustain the current NASS Bot Inventory of robots running in production.

The successful candidate should have strong UiPath RPA skills, experience with process and governance documentations, and the ability to balance multiple complex assignments.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities and Deliverables:

Develop RPAs according to published governance frameworks and standards

  • Work with stakeholders to identify and assess appropriate automation use cases
  • Lead RPA workshops to understand end-to-end processes while identifying automation risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with process automation
  • Collaborate with business process teams to analyze and assess automation feasibility, translating business requirements into technical designs
  • Translate business requirements and current and future state process designs to create automation ready BRDs and process flows to serve as guides for RPA development
  • Research detailed exception scenarios that RPA designs need to incorporate
  • Perform risk analyses and complete all required documentation
  • Develop RPAs according to published governance frameworks and standards
  • Provide guidance to fellow RPA developers & review the RPA deliverables & documentation produced by them
  • Lead the planning, prioritization, and implementation of automation testing including designing and developing RPA test plans, scripts, and procedures
  • Perform unit testing prior to releasing automations for UAT
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance and regression testing, including preparing test scenarios and collecting approvals from business process owners
  • Oversee test coverage and the timely resolution of defects
  • Coordinate and support end user manual preparation, training planning and execution and certification

Provide implementation and post production support to ensure business stability

  • Coordinate and drive support for incident resolution
  • Coordinate and support change request analysis and implementation, including analysis and evaluation of changes
  • Control execution and compliance for all activities aligned with time and quality objectives for area of responsibility

Work independently but also function well within a team of developers to drive cross functional learning, development and sharing of leading practices

  • Develop strong working relationships with internal partners, both business users and technical resources
  • Participate in reporting automation, optimization, and other projects related to analytics and reporting
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration to help develop and implement solutions that are configured as prescribed by GBS Control North America COE standards
  • Provide status and escalate issues to supervisor

Contribute to continuous improvement and collaboration

  • Work with business partners to understand areas for improvement and document those opportunities
  • Serve as SME o others seeking to utilize RPA for automating and streamlining existing manual processes
  • Identify opportunities for replication and reusability of existing technology to drive additional organizational efficiency

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,300 - $111,000 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Ability to balance complexity and work independently with large amounts of information
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; ability to work with macros, formulas, big data
  • Minimum 2 year's experience with software development life cycle and RPA technologies (UiPath)
  • Minimum 2 year's experience documenting process flows and business requirements
  • Advanced skills with RPA platforms preferably UiPath
  • Understanding of database query languages
  • Cross-functional business and application knowledge
  • Ability to create proper functional requirements and detail specifications
  • Project and change management experience, involving IT implementations and user acceptance testing management
  • Ability to take lead on projects or small groups
  • Must be able to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize assignments to deliver quality work in a timely manner
  • Ability to balance responsibilities related to production support and project tasks simultaneously
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated solution designs and to present technical details to a non-technical audience

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • UiPath Academy Level 1,2, & 3 Certifications
  • Familiarity with Lean six sigma methodology
  • Knowledge of/experience with SAP
  • Self-motivated and willing to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment
  • Team orientation and Positive attitude
  • Technical aptitude to learn new software quickly
  • Strong facilitation/presentation skills
