The role of the Food Service Sales Representative is to manage the local Sysco Operating company relationship, acquire new foodservice accounts, and achieve foodservice sales volume and profitability goals for assigned territory. Position will be responsible for achieving annual key performance indexes and execute and deliver key KPI's.

The Food Service Sales Representative will be responsible for the sales of PepsiCo products to existing and new local and local chain food service accounts (delis, restaurants, B&I, food trucks, etc.) in a pre-determined territory. This person will have the responsibility of activating local and national market place initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve new accounts-100% new business focus
  • Maintains relationships with PDP DSRs in territory
  • Attend food show and sales/ District Manager meetings
  • Conduct minimum of (40), calls per week
  • Define customer needs by understanding business priorities, business model, customers, and competitor performance in accounts
  • Demonstrate follow-up skills by visiting and tracking customer's progress and results in customer record management systems
  • Establishes effective account planning, demonstrate passion for winning in marketplace
  • Proactively share best practices and ideas throughout PepsiCo
  • Become an expert on the product portfolio communicating product attributes, and benefits to key decision makers

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $64,300 - $107,650.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Self-Starter, ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision, strong follow-up skills
  • A minimum of 2 years of fact-based selling experience preferred
  • Consumer packaged goods experience and / or Food Service selling experience preferred
  • Superior time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and plan
  • Outstanding communications and collaboration skills, clearly communicates all results and opportunities to manager and zone team
  • Strong Computer Skills
