Overview
Job Title: eCommerce Project Manager
Employer: PepsiCo, Inc.
Location: 350 Hudson Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10017
Responsibilities
Duties: Help shape the vision for eCommerce platforms for markets outside the US (a.k.a marketing automation platform that runs all of our search and displays marketing campaigns, Galileo, Pep Direct that enables PepsiCo direct to consumer platforms and the supply chain Platform). Manage the roadmap and run a transparent, outcome-driven lean product development process, building an intimate knowledge of the customer, business KPis and technological capabilities to inform product decisions. Operate in a white space environment to ideate and conceive innovative features that generate high customer value, drive scale and deliver against business goals. Write user stories, manage product backlog, prioritize features, while balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders. Take products through development, testing and launch, advocating to achieve the best outcomes. Collaborate with several internal and external partners like Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Design and Vendor partners to define features and oversee execution to launch. Monitor product data and customer feedback post-launch to refine features and iterate.
Telecommuting permitted 50%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the PepsiCo, Inc., office in New York, New York.
Qualifications
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or US equivalent in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in Product Development. Must have five (5) years of experience with: building, positioning, and driving a cohesive product vision and strategy; developing API products; end-to-end product delivery and launching a product globally; ideating and defining business features and user stories in Jira or a similar tool, prioritizing features based on business/customer value and feasibility, conducting product owner test validations; data analytics to mine through the data and help connect the dots to put together a data-driven story and use data as a driver to make key business decisions; Agile or Lean Product Development environment; vendor partner management for data and API partnerships; working with design team to deliver product wireframes and prototypes using Figma; building ecommerce direct to consumer platform using Shopify/BigCommerce and digital payments and building integration with ERP system like SAP/NetSuites. Must have two (2) years of experience with: Elixir or another functional programming language and Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous integrations, testing, and operations.
