ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Administrative Business Partner supports both the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Communications Officer (CCO), reporting directly to the CCO and collaborating closely with both the Marketing and Communications teams. This role will guide day-to-day operations and provide administrative and programmatic support for the CCO & CMO, making time, information and decision processes more effective. 

The person in this role will be a trusted partner and have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain balance among multiple priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the executive’s time is aligned with their priorities through demonstrated understanding of the core business and by leveraging expert prioritization strategies

  • Develop a deep understanding of each executive's work style to proactively enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Proactively increase executive bandwidth by anticipating needs, managing planning, executing tasks, streamlining workflows, and delegating activities.

  • Help maintain the overall efficiency and management of the executive and their lead teams

  • Manage the calendars of each executive with a high level of detail, using a collaborative process for eliminating conflicts and prioritizing the most critical engagements

  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion; especially decisions directly impacting the global operations of Peloton

  • Coordinate meetings with external media partners

  • Coordinate all aspects of meetings and town halls, including securing venues, arranging catering, developing agendas, preparing materials, and confirming attendee availability.

  • Proactively seek formal and informal feedback from respective teams to ensure maximum employee engagement and improve leadership effectiveness

  • Capture and distribute detailed meeting notes; proactively delegate follow-up tasks and action items.

  • Share and coordinate the Communications calendar with cross-functional partners.

  • Prepare expense reports, execution of contingent worker contracts, vendor invoicing paperwork, and purchase requisitions, including monthly expense reconciliation and on-demand expense reports

  • Coordinate both domestic and international travel arrangements ensuring tight schedules and well-articulated itineraries

  • Foster an inclusive culture through coordinating communications org-wide activities

  • Act as an extension of the CCO & CMO by building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, other ABPs, cross-functional teams, vendors, agency partners, etc.

  • Lean in on key projects and project management for ad-hoc initiatives as needed

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  •  7+ years of work experience in a similar role, supporting C-level Executives

  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in scheduling.

  • Highly organized and thoughtful with strong customer service skills

  • Possesses strong business acumen and the ability to prioritize and make sound judgments.

  • Highly diligent and self-motivated, with strong emotional and cultural intelligence to anticipate needs. Able to confidently set boundaries to protect executive time and priorities.

  • Experience prioritizing multiple projects

  • Ability to function well in a dynamic environment

  • Must be highly competent with a range of modern communication tools (Zoom, Slack, etc.)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Proficiency in Google G Suite tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • NYC; in office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$123,600$151,850 USD
