Your Career
We are looking for a motivated Principal System QA Engineer, to join the Cortex System QA group, infrastructure team, in our Tel Aviv R&D center. As a Principal System QA Engineer, you will play the role of setting up the Platform, XDR & XSIAM, system environment, infra-related and System E2E user flows, enhancing them with every release, and executing and analyzing them for different releases. In this role, you will work closely with the developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, and also be in charge of maintaining appropriate test labs for smooth test execution.
You need to have a passion for improving the overall quality of the product you test. All this in a fast-paced process of development, testing, and release. Cortex XSIAM is one of the fastest-growing products in the history of cybersecurity. Your Impact
- Test our Cortex Platform from System perspective including all services:
- Developing, executing and analyzing infrastructure-related (DevOps and IT deliveries, License management, etc.) System E2E user flows.
- Deciding and prioritizing tests to run in System environment, manually and/or automated, thus being on top of all new functionalities/integrations that are introduced in each release.
- Analyzing, debugging, reporting and following up on failures and discovered issues
- Working closely with automation teams, managing the defined tasks - from requirements to implementation and execution.
- Working closely with QA, development and product management stakeholders.
- Collaborating with functional QA engineers to enhance regression test suites, prioritize and decide on automation coverage.
- Learning about security solutions and technologies
- Integration with GCP Cloud Computing
- Integration with other Palo Alto Networks cloud services
Your Experience
- 7+ years of software testing experience
- Experience writing testing documents (STDs/ATPs) and knowledge of various testing methodologies
- Experience with Cloud vendors such as GCP, AWS, Azure
- Experience with both frontend and backend testing of cloud-based
- Ability and experience in test-planning and testing a system as a whole and not only functionality of different features.
- Self-learner and ability to learn new technologies and methodologies in a relatively short time
- Knowledge of a scripting or a programming language
- Security background in general and security program knowledge in particular - a big advantage
- Academic degree(s) in Computer Science or equivalent or equivalent military experience- an advantage
- Experience working with Linux-based environments - an advantage
- Experience in test automation - an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English
- The candidate should also possess the ability to work under pressure with extreme deadlines, prioritize projects, and maintain focus and a sense of humor
