We are currently seeking a Mainframe Programmer (Remote) to join our team in Tempe, Arizona (US-AZ), United States (US).
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced professional who will serve as Mainframe/EDI/Data Integration Engineer who will be the primary resource responsible for setting up the Integration strategy and consolidating A2A and B2B integration landscape. The successful candidate will work on designing, developing, implementing, and supporting various integration solutions across our ERP, CRM, and other business applications. The successful candidate will work independently and with the team to understand the integration needs and come up with scalable and secure integration solutions, implement a modern enterprise integration platform and the migrate us from legacy platforms. The Data Integration Engineer will also work cross-functionally with all departments, helping to manage Stakeholder requirements and expectations, ensuring the Business Applications team and the Company's success.

JOB DUTIES:
Establish best practices, standards and principles for design and implementation to deliver scalable integration solutions, build integration strategy based on principles of reusability, security, scalability, and quality.
Define and gather requirements and conduct design sessions for technical solutions.
Create technical specifications, test plans and support runbooks.
Develop, test, and document advanced integration solutions and data migration elements of business applications in the CRM, ERP (Finance, SCM, Sales & Marketing), and HCM domain.
Work with cross-functional teams and document detailed integration Process flows.
Perform database design, optimization, and troubleshooting tasks to ensure high performance and reliability.
Perform new EDI trading partner setups, support existing EDI Trading partners setup, evaluate and validate.
Perform EDI system configuration, setup EDI mappings, manage EDI-based transactions, exception errors and process issues.
Support transition of EDI systems to next-generation environments and maintain EDI process documentation.
Develop, Build, Deploy, Test and Support B2B integration solutions working on EDI ANSI X12 and EDIFACT using integration platforms like, Boomi, Pro EDI etc.,
Develop, Build, Deploy, Test and mainframe ERP platform using VSAM/JCL/COBOL/DB2 etc.,
Manage, monitor, troubleshoot and support existing as well as newly built integrations in an on-call rotation mode.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information systems, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• At least 10 + years of experience in mainframe development using JCL/Cobol/VSAM and DB2.
• At least 5 + years of experience in EDI Interface development.
• At least 10 + years of experience in mainframe development using JCL/Cobol/VSAM and DB2.
• Three (3+) years of experience in Integration/Middleware Tools (like Boomi, Pro EDI, etc.)
• Three (3+) years of experience in implementing integration solutions with ERP/CRM/eCommerce/HCM systems like: SAP, Salesforce, EPICOR or Any Other SaaS and On-Prem systems.
WE VALUE:
• Good knowledge of EDI ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Good knowledge of the .NET or C# Frameworks.
• Good understanding of development/documentation of SOAP/RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of relational database concepts (e.g., logical schemas, physical table structures, data attributes, primary and foreign keys, query languages, security, control, backup, and disaster recovery)
• Good familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira)
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and in English.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $70.00hr to $72.00hr. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
