Job Description
Supervises and coordinates staff in the planning of Pharmacy activities in accordance with established standards. Compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical products using standard physical and chemical procedures to fill written prescriptions. Reviews written prescriptions for accuracy, completeness and issuance by an authorized prescriber. Maintains records and statistics.
Job Responsibility
- Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of assigned Pharmacy staff.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Supervises clinical specialty pharmacy operations with Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) accreditation activities including medication preparation, dispensing, and supervision of pharmacy operations and personnel.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
- Current License to practice as a Pharmacist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
