Senior Infrastructure Services and Management Specialist - IT Asset Manager

Job Description

Maintains the organization's core applications and IT infrastructure, which may include hardware, software, servers, storage solutions, networks, or physical facilities.


Job Responsibility


  • Drives definition of client's application requirements and characteristics (size, performance requirements, etc.). Reviews, analyzes, develops, installs, and modifies systems; analyzes and resolves problems associated with infrastructure systems. Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems for later follow up and resolution determination. Assists with the development, maintenance and implementation of the strategic plan for infrastructure systems activities within the system in order to address organizational needs, technology trends, architectural design and human resource requirements. Provides consultation on complex technical projects such as scoping, estimating and planning infrastructure related initiatives. Acts as project leader for projects for the implementation or upgrade of Enterprise infrastructure. Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Job Qualification


  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.

Highly Preferred


  • Possess ITIL, IAITAM Certification, such as CHAMP and CITAM.



  • 5 + years' experience in an ITAM leadership role

  • Experience with procurement concepts and integration with procurement tools



  • Knowledge of the information system environment, including both hardware and software



  • Vendor licensing and audit knowledge



  • Proven results in IT cost avoidance/savings

  • Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal contacts and external vendors



  • Knowledge of IT Service Management processes,

  • ServiceNow Foundation Certification



  • ServiceNow HAM Certification



  • Multi-tasking ability



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills



  • Ability to make firm decisions and defend them or provide suitable objective explanations



  • Strong project management skills including delegation of tasks



  • Strong process management skills



  • Strong IT operational and technical knowledge



  • Software Asset Management



  • Business Process Design



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
