Job Description
Schedules, assigns daily duties, and assesses the general performance of the nursing staff in the practice. Performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for the admission of patients, utilizing the Nursing processes of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation. Performs all duties of a Registered Professional Nurse as necessary.
Job Responsibility
- Supervises, hires, educates, disciplines and evaluates the performance of nursing staff.
- Develops long-term practice staffing schedules and ensures adequate daily coverage in accordance with established staffing needs.
- Develops measures and monitors practice clinical operational performance metrics inclusive of agency and overtime costs.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
- Critical care and Cardiology experience highly preferred
