Job Description
Provides optimal nutritional care to assigned patients through appropriate nutritional assessments, interventions, education, metabolic monitoring and medical team communication.
Monday - Friday / Includes one weekend per month.
Job Responsibility
- Using standards of dietetic practice, provides optimum nutritional care to assigned patients.
- Completes nutritional consults in an appropriate and timely manner
- Assesses nutrition needs and determines nutrient requirements and appropriate diet according to patient's age, disease-specific needs, behavioral and metabolic response to medical and nutritional care.
- Collaborates and communicates with patient and health care team to assess needs, establish mutual goals and determine the most appropriate care plan to meet goals.

ADA Essential Functions
Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field, required. Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field, preferred.
- Registered Dietitian, required.
- Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in acute or long-term care facility.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
