Job Description
Maintains patient information regarding diet order, meals, food preferences and food allergies. Responsible for communicating with nursing, patient, family and the food and nutrition staff regarding patient nutritional care. Assists registered dietitians in the care of patients. Participates in food service tray-line. Maintains various records in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Job Responsibility
- Modifies daily menu in accordance with the physician's written order, the departmental Diet Manual, the patient's food preferences, allergies, and/or the meal pattern established by the registered dietitian.Calculates diets as ordered for patients on regular or special diets and tube feedings.

Job Qualification
Associates Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, required.
Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR), preferred.
Schedule: per diem - days/hours vary based on business needs.
