Sentinel - Systems Test Engineer / Principal Test Engineer (FVT) - 13555

Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules.
Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness of test program.
Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, Element Test teams, System Test teams, and other stakeholders to identify test objectives, test requirements, and risks that require test to mitigate
Supporting development of instrumentation requirements for Hardware in the Loop testing.
Identify test support requirements and coordinate with Design & Integration team for budget and personnel needs
Overseeing test activities in support or requirement verification and validation.
Conduct daily briefing and approve test start for each test event.
Approve Break of Configuration on the test floor
Conduct table top reviews and dry run test procedures with test team prior to execution
Coordinate and conduct Technical and Safety Review Boards, and Test Readiness Reviews
Support customer Test Plan Working Groups
Prepare Test Planning Team charters
Coordinate with Quality organization for test support
Review and approve major test amendments
Collaborate with other IPTs to define test objectives and test requirements for test activities in the Hardware in the Loop Labs.
Support to develop, plan, and execute qualification and acceptance test plans, as well as supporting design and test reporting and reviews
Support developing and updated the detailed integration test plan (ITP)
Support the generation of test procedures and test readiness reviews (TRRs)
Creation of test Concept of Operations (ConOps) flows that maximizes the utility of test resources while meeting schedule and technical requirements and/or constraints
Generate and support test data decomposition and test reports to other IPTs.
Assist in consolidating and processing of final test data for requirements verification/model validation sign-off
Coordinate integrated testing activities with multiple test teams.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Engineer Systems Test: 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's; or 0 years with a Master's degree; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Principal Engineer Systems Test: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's; or 3 years with a Master's Degree; or 0 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Required for both levels:

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Excellent leadership, communications, and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of Model Based System Engineering principles, working experience with CAMEO
Knowledge/experience with AF Test Directive 99-103
Experience with ICBMs (MM, PK, Small Missile) or DOD programs
Coordinate integrated testing activities with multiple test teams
Strong understanding of entire product lifecycle, modeling and engineering best practices
Experience with creating test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports
Experience with integration and test principles and processes
Experience with systems engineering principles and processes
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of system integration and test principles and processes
Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles, DOORS database, requirements decomposition and allocation
Understanding of Model Based System Engineering principles, working experience with CAMEO
Knowledge/experience with AF Test Directive 99-103

Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00Salary Range 2: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
