Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Sr. Principal Technical Project Manager - 14952. This position will be located in Roy, Utah or Huntsville, Alabama and will support the Sentinel program.
The selected candidate will join the DevStar Directorate. The DevStar team is responsible for coordinating the development and execution of the Integrated Functional Capability in accordance with the Integrated Master Schedule to support major milestone events and the Software Technical Integration for the Sentinel Program. This role requires support of the team leads in close coordination and collaboration with the other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) responsible for the HW/SW delivery schedule for an integrated build up to program integration events. You will help plan and track Sentinel weapon system schedule and define key capabilities and functions for Sentinel Integrated Functional Capabilities (IFCs).
You will have the opportunity to:
• Support CAM related activities
• Serve as an overall integration function for the program engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence for program operations and execution
• Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and tools
• Coordinate schedules, requirements, and performance visibility to both the Program Office and the Customer while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Facilitate internal and external meetings to support the program and represent program management in appropriate program reviews or boards
• Identify and mitigate project risks throughout project life cycle
• Identify opportunities for change and champion needed changes in the organization

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications:
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Sr. Principal Technical Project Manager: 08 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 06 Years with Masters, 04 with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
Ability to obtain and maintain maintaining a DoD Top Secret and SAP/SAR
Demonstrated Project Management experience.
Experience with managing cost and schedules.
Familiar with Earned Value Management (EVM).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in DoD programs.
2+ Yrs of experience demonstrating excellent technical leadership, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills, effectively engaging with internal staff, external customers, and partners.
Proven demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiar with Control Account Management.
PMP Certification
Demonstrated experience using Atlassian Tool Suite (e.g., Jira and Confluence)
Capable of working with minimal direction, independently determines and develops technical objectives of assignments, and presents work upon completion for high level review.
Ability to provide and implement solutions to advanced problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
Master's degree in engineering, MBA, or a related technical discipline.

Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $196,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
