Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Nuclear Hardness and Survivability (NH&S) Analysis Manager 2 . This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
What You'll Get To Do:
The successful candidate will lead the NHS Engineering Analysis team comprised of electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and scientists in the fields of physics and nuclear effects.
This team is responsible for:
- Defining NHS environments
- Radiation transport modeling and simulation
- Radiation effects circuit analysis
- Ground shock and thermal effects analysis
- Effects of electromagnetic pulses on electronics

Job Qualifications
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field of study and at 6 years of experience, Master's Degree and 4 years of experience; PhD in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Minimum of 2 years of CAM experience managing cost, schedule, and performance of large government technical statements of work
- At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
- 1 year of experience in qualification and/or verification testing on large programs
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with an in-scope investigation within the last 6 years
- Minimum of 3 years of formal management experience to include direct reports/performance reviews
- Experience with MIL-STD-1766
- CAM Certification
- Experience with Nuclear Hardness and Survivability programs
- Weapon System experience (GBSD, Minuteman III or similar military or industry experience)
- Model Based Systems Engineering experience
- Active Secret/Top Secret clearance with investigation in the last 6 years
Salary Range: $131,200 - $196,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
