This position will be located in (Roy, UT) and will support test and checkout activities supporting the Sentinel, formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), program.

What You'll Get To Do: (Essential Functions)
Support the development of test requirements and detailed integration test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews (TRRs), test data and test reports
Execution of qualification and acceptance testing per requirements, plans and procedures
Execute tests, manage and prioritize problems/failures
Participate in internal and customer test planning working groups
Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment
Write and deliver test presentations in support of program reviews and customer delivery (CDRL) development
Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements
Troubleshoot both test and prototype issues & create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues
Collaborate with systems engineers, testing houses, development engineers and other stakeholders involved in the testing process.
Review test plans, procedures, and reports; witness testing as the Cognizant Engineer
Participate in technical exchange meetings, interfacing with customers (internal/external) and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications: (Basic Qualifications)
Basic Qualifications Test Engineer: (T02)
2 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree 0 years of relevant experience.; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Basic Qualifications Principal Test Engineer: (T03)
5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree 3 years of relevant experience.; PhD 1 year relevant experience.; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
At least (2) years of demonstrated experience in writing Electrical/Mechanical component testing documentations (i.e.. Troubleshooting, test plans, procedures, reports)
Basic Qualifications Required: (Both Levels)
US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
Familiarity with systems engineering integration and test principles and processes.

Familiarity with testing standards like Mil-Std-810, D0-160 or Mil-Std.-461/464
Experience coordinating and leading integrated testing activities with multiple test teams
Cable testing/design experience (especially with automated test equipment)
Familiarity with Atlassian applications JIRA and Confluence
Experience with mechanical and/or electrical design
Test Automation scripting experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Ability to effectively communicate and present technical details to peers, and stakeholders

Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00Salary Range 2: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
