We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team on a 12 month FTC to cover maternity leave.
Our UK Cyber & Intelligence business combines modern software development approaches with a rich heritage and experience in the Defence and security sectors. Our customers have complex and sensitive data and information requirements requiring a mission partner who quickly understands the context, delivering and sustaining a portfolio of challenging technology projects at scale and pace, supporting them through an ambitious digital transformation programme.

Responsibilities:
Create and lead the Project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints
Day-to-day management of the project team. Provide effective leadership and management controls.
Set project controls and 'stop go' decision points. Design the project structure and organisation appropriate to stage. Set appropriate delivery methodologies. Manage effective transition between project phases.
Develop each business case as required.
Develop the budget and track delivery of the project within budget.
Identify skill requirements at all stages of each project, assist with recruitment of resources within budget constraints, oversee effective deployment of resources including: building the project team; delegation of roles and responsibilities; developing capability and fostering innovation.
Identify and manage stakeholder relationships and need for senior level support. Manage internal and external relationships as appropriate.
Identify, monitor and report project risks and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.
Identify and work with related projects to manage interdependencies.
Support effective governance and decision making. Provide reporting and engage in mechanisms that hold you to account for delivery.
Engage with assurance reviews and acts on recommendations. Organise assurance processes such as gateway reviews, as required by the Account Lead.
Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.
Cascade vision and translate into delivery objectives for the team. Develop and maintain Project
Plan. Identify and set appropriate Project Controls. Manage performance and report progress to sponsors.

We are looking for:
Proven experience in a Delivery/Project Management roles, with evidence of collaborative working.
Experience of UK Government civil and/or MOD working practices, including PRINCE2, Agile Project Management (APM) and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).
Recent experience supporting IT/Software/Cyber projects in Government or similar organisations.
Experience delivering projects within the contracting constraints, including to time, budget and quality for T&M and FP contracts.
Capable of dealing with conflicting priorities between different specialist groups.
