Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Production Test Technician 2 located in Woodland Hills, CA.

What you'll get to do:

Maintain, test, troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair navigation positioning systems including, but not limited to, inertial reference systems, sensor electronic assemblies, monitor assemblies, electronic panels, sensor assemblies, chassis, etc.
Integrate and test data link communication systems following written test procedures and provide feedback to engineering as needed for process improvements.
Operate multi-axis rate tables, environmental chambers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, torque wrenches, etc.
Perform incoming product evaluations, safely handle electrostatic sensitive devices, document repair processes, record test data, and record non-conformances manually and electronically.
Apply chemicals and cleaning products as required.
Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, technical publications, maintenance manuals, and written instructions to troubleshoot, repair, and assemble modules, subassemblies, and systems.
Conduct tests and report data in the prescribed format, using predetermined methods, sequences, and setups to inspect or test specific equipment or products.
Follow all program and site security requirements.
The ideal candidate must be able to lift 30 lbs., pay attention to detail with a focus on quality output, work in a team environment where daily communication and interaction is required, be willing to work in a production and repair environment with production goals and deadlines, and be able to learn to perform work responsibilities with limited supervision.
Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of industry-related experience.
Experience working with avionics or electronics.
MS Office experience.
Willing to work a flexible work schedule that includes extended shifts, may include holidays, and weekends as required.
US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:

Active Secret clearance.
Advanced education in avionics or electronics.
Current or previous FAA/FCC Repairman certification (instrument).
Developmental or operational test experience.
4 years or more of industry-related testing and troubleshooting experience.
Experience with Configuration Management and/or Mission Assurance concepts.
Experience with shop floor manufacturing systems (SAP, GOLDesp, Visiprise Manufacturing, iMRO, etc.).
Experience with ESD (electrostatic discharge) and FOD (foreign object damage) control.
Experience with CUI (controlled unclassified information) and COMSEC (communications security).
* Experience with FAR, ITAR, AS9100, and/or ISO 90001 rules and regulations.
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $83,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
