The Maritime Systems Division (MSD) of Leidos develops, integrates, and deploys advanced technology solutions that address existing and emerging maritime missions for a range of customers across the Department of Defense (DoD). Our Lynnwood, WA facility is expanding its operations based on significant business growth and is seeking new talent to join our world-class lean manufacturing team. We are building a production capability from the ground up for a diverse range of innovative products that created the opportunity for a new Production Test Technician. You will work closely with manufacturing engineers and technicians to assemble and test electro-mechanical devices, improve production processes, and ensure a clean and organized manufacturing floor.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Production Test Technician your primary responsibilities for this important role include:

  • Factory acceptance testing of complex electro-mechanical devices using Linux systems.
  • Test and data collection using a variety of lab equipment such as: Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, Impedance Analyzers
  • Operation and maintenance of industrial environmental chambers performing Highly Accelerated Stress Screens.
  • Ensuring an organized and clean workspace (5S) including total preventive maintenance of equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Foster the environment of continuous improvement with the use of industry best practices such as Root Cause Analysis and Kaizen.

Basic Qualifications

  • A background in the development, production, delivery, and ongoing support of sophisticated electro-mechanical products that serve DoD customer requirements.
  • Inspection and test of CCAs and Piezo electrics for conformance to test specifications
  • Leads process improvement projects in their work cells and in the manufacturing floor
  • Suggest redlines to work instructions and test procedures so that improvements are documented
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand assembly drawings.
  • Ability to rapidly understand test procedures and their requirements.
  • Competent in using hand tools, power tools, adhesives, and scales.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • 2 years of experience operating Linux computers.
  • Experience with ESD, FOD, and EH&S requirements.
  • A SECRET security clearance, or an uncompromised ability to rapidly attain one.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of prior relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating Qualmark Typhoon 3.0 Chamber or equivalent.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical systems
  • J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 Certification
  • Competent in using crimpers, wire strippers, and soldering irons.
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards
  • Experience in world-class lean manufacturing

Pay Range:

Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
