What You'll Get To Do:
This employee will be directly assigned to our department and will not be placed into a pool of project managers within the functional homeroom. Functional and assignment manager will be the same. (IPT). This team oversees and manages the operational aspects of the Division including Sentinel programmatic proposals, engineering change proposals, requests for information, & rough order of magnitudes. The selected candidate must be able to work on site and be willing and able to travel if needed (up to 10%). Flexible/hybrid work arrangements may be possible at times and will vary based on proposal. Customer satisfaction is a top priority, and qualified candidates must have demonstrated experience working multiple projects simultaneously, performing to tight deadlines, possess excellent project management and time management skills, detail oriented, and solid communication skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Facilitate the operational progression of RFP/RFI/ROM/ECP responses to the program customer.

Coordinate across many stakeholders to organize progression of the proposal through the process and ensure quality of the final deliverable.

Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated with demonstrated abilities to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to manage responsibilities independently with minimal or no day-to-day supervision.

Act as a liaison to ensure high quality submittals and adherence to relative program toolsets and processes.

Support in representing items with all levels of management including Program Leadership and Customer Reviews.

Ensure adherence to schedule and continually manage risk to address volatility in proposal requirements, deadlines, and our offering.

Review and present status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.

Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Develop mechanisms for managing and monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, IPTs, and functional management.

Collaborate with the Capture Manager and core team on proposal execution approach and proposal roles and responsibilities.

Develop efficient and effective proposal execution plans in response to complex solicitations from U.S. Government and other customers.

Lead collaborative, engaged teams to develop, review, and submit proposals that effectively represent our strategy and baseline while eliminating non-compliances and limiting weaknesses.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a Principal level or level Sr. Principal level.

Principal Level: 5 years of relevant experience in Program Management, Project Management, Business Management, Proposals, Estimating, or Industrial Engineering with a Bachelor's Degree; 3 years with a Masters. 1 years with a PhD; or 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Sr. Principal Level: 8 years of relevant experience in Program Management, Project Management, Business Management, Proposals, Estimating, or Industrial Engineering with a Bachelor's Degree; 6 years with a Masters. 4 years with a PhD; or 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Both levels require the following qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD interim Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need.

2 years' experience leading high performing teams with a focus on project completion, prioritizing schedule deadlines.

2 years' experience coaching/mentoring teammates.

2 years' experience supporting DoD Programs.

Experience developing Basis of Estimates (BOE).

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a defense/aerospace environment

Experience supporting large captures

Experience supporting competitive and sole source proposals with values greater than $250M

Active Top Secret security clearance

Prior experience supporting and/or leading competitive and/or sole source proposals.

Knowledge and understanding of the U.S. Government's competitive acquisition process including federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFAR).

Experience in public speaking for large audiences.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to present concepts and recommendations to all levels within the organization.

Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) programs

2 years as a team lead and task delegation experience.
