This role is located in Palmdale, CA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate with technical leadership in a cross functional team to meet program cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
Develop and deliver presentations to management, and other program stakeholders.
Define, plan, perform, monitor, control, and complete a variety of project tasks simultaneously.
Track budget actuals against predictions and financial performance against the full EV performance management baseline.
Participate in CAM status calls, prepare status for/attend weekly status meeting, support stakeholder meetings, review Actual Hours reports for time charging accuracy.
Coordinate Earned Value Change Requests (EVCRs) with the business management and Scheduling team as needed.
Support logistics team, generate staffing requirements, documentation, and forecasts.
Review labor resources and cost actuals on a weekly basis, and acting on any discrepancies.
Support development of packages for Proposal and Change Requests for cost and schedule.
Adhere to all internal processes for Program Management.
Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Manager:
5+ years of experience in project management and/or control account management with Bachelor's degree OR 3+ years of experience in project management and/or control account management with Master's degree OR 1+ years of experience in project management and/or control account management with Ph.D.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Experience with Control Account Management and Earned Value Management methodologies.
Experience with contracts executing full earned value management.
Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and/or Power Point.
Experience with Risk Management, Return to Green (RTG) plans, and/or cross functional scheduling.
Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Project Manager:
8+ years of experience in project management and/or control account management with Bachelor's degree OR 6+ years of experience in project management and/or control account management with Master's degree OR 4+ years of experience in project management and/or control account management with Ph.D.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Experience with Control Account Management and Earned Value Management methodologies.
Experience with contracts executing full earned value management.
Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and/or Power Point.

Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management professional (PMP) Certification.
Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00Salary Range 2: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
