Overview
The Senior Principal Project Manager is an execution leadership position responsible for the planning and delivery of the Empower Portfolio roadmap. The role oversees the development activities to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing the schedule, the cost, internal and outsource staffing, and contractual deliverables. This position will report to a director.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates on the product roadmap with Product Management, Product Marketing, and the Lead Engineer roles.
- Oversees the development planning and execution at a portfolio level, drives project staffing changes as needed, tracks milestones, and reports status to portfolio leadership regularly.
- Oversees outsource operations in terms of budgets, statements of work, and key performance indicators.
- Provides release process documentation guidance to the development teams.
- Collaborates with the portfolio leadership and drives the definition of performance objectives, metrics, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 12 years of project management experience in a software development environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proven record of on-time and on-budget delivery
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present to excecutive staff
