Job Description:

The selected candidate will perform the functional management of personnel assigned to the depot level field team at NAS Lemoore in the execution of MRO&U operations and will be responsible for interfacing with program management, business management and company senior level leadership, as well as the local Warfighter leadership. They will work with the operations manager in establishing hiring strategies and administer the site CFT programs for technical training, quality, health and safety and will ensure the site is organized and resourced to execute the program Statement of Work (SOW). The candidate will also manage all site compliance efforts for company, customer and Warfighter inspections and audits. This role will directly impact NG's objective of optimizing our role as a key partner in the program.

Basic Qualifications :
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience. Will consider a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience; Or, an associate's degree with a minimum of 6 years of aircraft maintenance.
  • Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or have held a DoD Secret clearance within the last 2 years.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance, as required .
  • Minimum of 2 years F-35 MRO&U experience in a management, integration, mod lead or maintenance control role.
  • Experience interpreting and executing policies and procedures that typically affect aircraft maintenance and modification activities as related to the USN and USMC.
  • Experience operating autonomously with minimal direction from senior management.
  • Experience with MS Office applications is required.
  • Experience managing the production of weekly status reports, metrics, incorporation documents, and schedules.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience as a team lead, supervisor or manager of teams responsible for Department of Navy aircraft maintenance.
  • Previous role in executing, planning and/or managing depot level aircraft modifications.
  • Proficient interpreting and analyzing modification engineering drawings and manufacturing/material process specifications.
  • Experience and working knowledge with F-35 sustainment tools; Product Data Manager (PDM), JSF Data Library (JDL), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
  • Knowledge and experience with program change/configuration management and associated change boards for processing change requests with retrofit implications.
  • Experience with such programs as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information Systems, Tool and FOD, E-Time Accounting, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management and Supply Chain Management.
  • Experienced in process development and continuous improvement.
  • Desire to optimize and evolve processes and tools.
Salary Range: $99,800 - $149,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
