Northrop Grumman's semiconductor foundry and packaging lines have unique capabilities to support a range of production microelectronic devices (Silicon, Gallium Arsenide, Gallium Nitride, Silicon Carbide) and provide leading-edge technology development.

What you get to do:
Maintain semiconductor equipment, performing installation, maintenance, repairs, and calibration. Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting.
Maintain equipment and repair logs
Use hand, power, and test tools and equipment
Estimate labor and equipment costs; prepare requisitions as needed
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Perform duties in electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical areas
Constructs, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operated related equipment; conducted tests and reported data in the prescribed format.
Occasional travel may be required
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
2 years of additional education and/or related experience in Robotics Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Experience working with cross-organizational teams (e.g., engineering, production managers, operators, technicians)
Must be a US Citizen
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Have an associate's degree or vocational certificate in a technical area (e.g., electronics, mechanics)
Experience with semiconductor equipment.
Experience with handling chemical
Experience in low volume/high product mix environments
Experience interfacing with vendors for equipment repairs, service contracts, and purchase preferred

Salary Range: $43,100.00 - $71,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
