This position will be located in Patuxent River, MD.
Job Duties and Description
Performs a variety of maintenance, modifications and technical support on E-2D Avionics and Electrical systems, equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, at various customer and/or field locations.
Supports testing, exercises, and operations at CONUS and possible OCONUS locations. Knowledge
Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues.
Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.

Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
May assist in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of lower level employees. Often designated as lead worker.
Qualification for Technician Level 4:
An associate's degree in an appropriate technical discipline and four (4) years of E2D Radar and TARA specialized experience or High School diploma and six (6) years of E2D Radar and TARA experience
The ability to acquire a DoD Secret Clearance. Interim clearance required to start.
Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS
A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
Ability to perform removals and installations of upgraded Radar and TARA system components as directed by NGC and ITT engineering.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Work may be done without established procedures.
Salary Range: $76,800.00 - $128,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
