As the Chief Engineer for our Secure Network Solutions programs (SNS), you will be responsible and accountable for all engineering aspects within the SNS Product lines and Projects. You will also be responsible for:

Establishing Engineering compliance against ADF and National Engineering framework

Accountable for defining the Mission System requirements, architecture, logical solutions representations

The Design Authority and to certify the design and solution are fit for purpose, safe and meets the operational intent under Commonwealth Regulations

Approval of system architecture, system-level requirements verification and validation

Technical and SME leadership for Tactical Data Links and DLP engagements

About You

As a Senior Experienced Engineer, you will have extensive knowledge across Communication, Navigation and Network radio systems including Tactical Data Link systems, you will also have:

A bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering

Hold Engineering chartership (CPEng) and be registered as a professional Engineer

Extensive experience in Design Authority role and hold Design Authority Delegation

Experience in Agile methodologies and execution

Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

The ability to make Risk based decisions
