The Administrative Assistant serves a critical role in coordinating and managing the leadership schedule and outreach, meeting arrangements, documentation, and projects. The ideal candidate is experienced, pro-active and highly detailed oriented, with strong communications skills and a knack for relationship building at all levels. This position requires the Administrative Assistant to perform advanced administrative duties with exposure to sensitive information necessitating tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. Strong integrity is essential, and the candidate must be comfortable working in a high energy, collaborative, diverse, professional environment. Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Handling details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
Performing office functions such arranging meetings/conferences, preparing material, supply management, resolving scheduling conflicts and setting up for meetings
Making travel arrangements and creating expense reports that comply with current travel policies
Maintaining team distribution/access lists and seating charts
Preparing charts, graphs, and presentations for leadership meetings
Proactive support in executing day-to-day pop-up related items that facilitate the ability to meet business requirements
Serves as a focal point for the organization and communicates with internal and external customers and executives professionally representing the corporation and organization
Assists in event planning and activities of major organization initiatives
Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities.
Track, manage & follow-up on mandatory training for the vehicle engineering organization.
Obtaining inputs and compiling weekly data for status reporting

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field or Associate's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience in the administrative professional field.
Prior experience as an assistant to a manager, executive and/or professional office
Must have Computer skills to include advanced expertise in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
Experience with Microsoft office products, such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance (Secret)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree
Current DoD Clearance (Top Secret)
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and proven success in organizing, prioritizing, and completing assigned responsibilities
Ability to understand business objectives, priorities
Ability to anticipate and be proactive
Understand the sensitive nature of working in the executive office and have good judgement, problem solving skills and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality
Self starter; driven & excited and motivated to support the organization
Experience participating and hosting in-person and remote video teleconference meetings (such as Zoom, Skype, MS Teams)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience with proofreading and correcting documents for grammatical errors
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple administrative projects and initiatives
Experience with preparing expense reports
Experience with Concur (or similar) travel and expense reporting system for reporting domestic travel
SharePoint (or equivalent), and intranet/internet proficiency
Experience with compiling and generating reports and presentations
Salary Range: $64,600.00 - $107,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
