Senior Designer, Brand Creative, Kids, Women's Sport & Brand Initiatives Art Direction

A creative force of specialists tell Nike's stories of innovation and sport through advertising, brand strategy, digital engagement and product presentation. Using channels ranging from retail stores to social media, Marketing & Communication teams connect the science and art of Nike innovations to the hearts and minds of athletes around the world.
This role sits within the Kids, Women's Sport & Brand Initiatives team, based at Nike's European Headquarters (EHQ) in the Netherlands.

We're looking for a mid-level Designer/Art Director with strong creative instincts, a bold point of view, and proven design craft across multiple mediums.
You're a conceptual thinker who knows how to turn ideas into engaging storytelling and visually compelling campaigns. You understand the cultural context of sport and youth across EMEA and bring that insight into your work.

You're multidisciplinary by nature, comfortable switching between Art Direction, Graphic Design, Typography, Digital, Social Content, and Experiential Design.
You're curious, culturally aware, and proactive about exploring emerging trends, technologies, and platforms. You know how to spot and collaborate with new creative talent.
You thrive in a team environment, with strong communication skills and the ability to take feedback, build on ideas, and contribute to collective success. You're energized by complex projects and shifting priorities.
Above all, you bring a strong, concept-led portfolio that shows creative thinking and executional craft across sport, fashion, lifestyle, and culture.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You'll help shape the future of Nike's brand storytelling across EMEA, leading the creative process from concept through to execution and delivery across both physical and digital touch points.
Your work will include:
- Translating marketing briefs and strategies into visually engaging, concept-driven creative ideas
- Building presentations, mood boards, design explorations, prototypes, and comps to clearly communicate creative direction
- Leading and executing creative for product launches and seasonal brand campaigns, both original work for EMEA and adaptations of global campaigns
- Collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to deliver work that's on-brand, culturally relevant, and crafted to a high standard
- Staying up-to-date with design trends, digital innovation, and cultural moments, applying new insights to your creative practice
- Contributing to creative excellence by sharing knowledge and inspiration across Nike's design community
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You'll report to the Creative Director for Kids, Women's Sport & Brand Initiatives, collaborating daily with a multi-disciplinary team of designers, art directors, writers, producers, strategists, and global partners.
You'll work cross-functionally with internal teams across Brand Marketing, Partner Marketing, Energy, and Athlete Marketing within the Sportswear/Sports & Lifestyle categories.
You'll also partner with external creative collaborators including agencies, photographers, stylists, directors, and emerging cultural voices across the EMEA region.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A strong, versatile creative portfolio showcasing concept-driven, visually impactful work across digital, social, experiential, and traditional media with a focus on sport, sport lifestyle, fashion and culture
- The ability to translate strategic briefs into bold, relevant creative ideas
- Strong visual storytelling, design craft, and art direction skills
- Experience collaborating across multi-functional teams and with external creative partners from concept to execution
- An understanding of EMEA youth and sports culture, with a pulse on key cultural trends
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Figma, and other relevant design tools
- Strong presentation and communication skills, comfortable sharing and selling ideas at various stages of development
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- A passion for sport, lifestyle, and creative innovation
- Willingness to travel (approx. 10-15%) when needed
