About the position:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with a strong emphasis on data analytics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of financial expertise and advanced analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes
- Conduct thorough data mining and analysis to uncover insights that inform business strategies and optimize financial performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems and external databases
- Design and implement data visualization tools and dashboards to communicate key financial metrics and performance indicators
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and present findings to senior management to support decision-making processes
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and financial analysis to continuously improve processes and methodologies
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with a focus on data analytics
- Proficiency in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline
