Job Summary:

In this role, you will develop ETL processes for Data Warehouse and Data Integration solutions. You will partner with Data Architect, Business Objects developers in all aspects of software development lifecycle. You will maintain and enhance existing ETL codes and trouble-shoot data issues when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing implementing and maintaining ETL codes for Data Warehouses and Data Integration Solutions.
  • Developing maps, sessions and workflows using Informatica according to specifications and business requirements.
  • Developing Unix Shell script to automate ETL process, file management and file transmission.
  • Developing SQL scripts for data analysis and ETL processes.
  • Developing batch job, job schedule and dependency using Autosys Contributing to and following ETL standards and best practices.
  • Conducting intensive data analysis and preparing test results.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving product issues.
  • Participating in all phases of testing. Conducting peer code reviews.

Required Skill and experience:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
  • 5 years of related technical experience in developing ETL processes using Informatica ETL
  • developing Unix Shell script to automate ETL process, file management or file transmission
  • developing SQL scripts for data analysis and for ETL processes.
  • Familiar with Oracle database, dimensional data models and Star-Schemas concept.
  • Worked with scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control-M or Tivoli.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $100K - $125K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
