Data Integration Engineer

Madrid, Spain

We are looking for an experienced Data Integration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing and maintaining high-quality data processing and integration solutions using modern technologies.

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL code.
  • Bring 100k LoC codebase into SDLC (including version control and testing)
  • Ensure database stability, reliability, and performance.
  • Perform performance profiling and query tuning.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain database documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and lead projects involving integration of .
  • Manage database releases and deployments.
  • Ensure data compliance and security needs are met in system construction.
  • Troubleshoot data management issues and offer assistance across teams.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify trends and insights.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy within a complex business environment.
  • Perform and automate data validation testing to ensure continuous quality of data workflows.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with database technology (as DBA, Developer, Data Engineer).
  • Proficiency in data warehousing, relational databases and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) technologies.
  • Experience with Azure SQL, performance profiling, query tuning, ad hoc analysis
  • Proficient in manipulation and transformation of various formats (JSON, XML)
  • Experience with Integrations using various data sources (MuleSoft a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in English is required for this role
