In addition, the Private Banking Group ("PBG") offers WM clients cash management and lending solutions.Job SummaryThe PBG Lending Group is seeking to build out its first-line credit risk function to coordinate credit risk management oversight and monitoring across lending products to ensure, including but not limited to: (a) New loan originations fit within PBG risk appetite.(b) Portfolio management oversight is robust including: (i) Monitoring lending trends, KPIs & KRIs. (ii) Identify deteriorating loan quality on a timely basis.(iii) Stressed credit oversight, coordination and management.(c) Coordinate with stakeholders on credit policies, underwriting guidelines, escalation frameworks, controls, risk metrics, etc. to ensure high quality originations & portfolio management.(d) Assist in managing and remediating Credit-related RCSAs, regulatory and audit findings.# Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Manager with between 5-15 years of experience in financial services, preferably with Credit Risk experience, to coordinate cross-product stakeholder engagement, perform process mapping and improvements, deliver enhanced monitoring and reporting, improve governance and oversight and additional job responsibilities, as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical & collaborative mindset.Key Responsibilities * Build relationships and stakeholder coordination (e.g., business units, 2LOD credit risk, legal, compliance, audit, ops, etc.) on governance, frameworks, definitions, KRIs, portfolio management, etc. ensuring alignment with organizational goals. * Lead the design and execution of solutions to enhance execution, oversight, monitoring, and reporting (e.g., cross-product risk huddles, committee meetings, centralized dashboards, etc.) associated with the job summary description. * Develop & prioritize recommendations, present findings and progress updates to senior management, articulating the value proposition of proposals and securing buy-in from stakeholders. * Mentor, train, and help develop more junior team members.Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree required with preference for related field. Advanced degrees and certifications are a plus. * Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, ideally in credit risk, data and reporting or process improvements. * Preferred experience in credit risk analysis, underwriting or origination at a major U.S. Private Bank and/or Commercial Bank as well as effectiveness in dealing with UHNW clients. Credit analysis includes oversight and monitoring functions, ability to form independent and supportable view & engage in professional review & challenge discussions with Partners. * Ability to influence stakeholders through excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills, as well as, distilling complex issues and navigating large organizational relationships. * Critical skills required include PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.
