Tech Lead - Algorithmic Electronic Trading Infrastructure
You're a highly motivated individual, with a track record of delivering sophisticated yet pragmatic and easy to use solutions. As part of our engineering leadership, you will be responsible for building and mentoring a highly productive team of engineers tasked with delivering next generation state of the art post trade capture and reporting platform. You are hands on and lead by example setting standards for what good looks like and inspire people around you to strive for delivering technical excellence and high-quality solutions. You take full ownership of your projects, and you realize your job doesn't end when your changes are merged. We work alongside our partners from Algo Trading group to ensure our software runs smoothly in production. You are passionate about computer science and software engineering - you enjoy learning new algorithms and keep up with the latest industry trends. If the prospects of optimizing a system bottlenecked on IO to achieve 10x speedup, and designing interfaces that other engineers will build on sound exciting, you'll be a great fit! Extensive experience with Core Java and related technologies like JPA Experience managing and running a team of high caliber engineers to deliver enterprise grade software infrastructure solutions Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python and C++ is desirable however optional Knowledge of, or keen interest in learning about: OS internals, networking, CPU architectures Experience with high-performance computing, multi-threading, and distributed systems Great problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Build a career with impact.
