Position Summary Morgan Stanley OCIO's business development team sits in NYC and is a high-energy, driven and collaborative team that is tasked with working directly with Financial Advisors/Consultants and other key partners across the Firm to drive asset growth. As part of the OCIO business development team, the Strategic RFP writer will play a critical role in the quality of our RFP responses, working together with other team members and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support our business goals to win net new assets, expand and retain business. This role will involve additional responsibilities to support these efforts such as updating marketing material and the response library, assisting with industry surveys, and responding to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) issued by current clients. Responsibilities Include * Helping to respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to drive AUM growth * Writing RFP response documents, including cover letters and executive summaries * Responding to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) issued by current clients * Collaborating with the business development team and SMEs to address key questions, articulate our value proposition, and create commercial intellectual capital for use with clients and prospects to engage on topics related to the areas of expertise * Working with SMEs to make sure information is updated as enhancements occur * Updating standard RFP library responses and resource templates available to field consultants * Updating OCIO marketing material across all client segments on a quarterly, annual, and as-needed basis * Assisting in responding to industry surveys and analyzing the data * Ensuring that responses follow brand style and tone guidelines * Ensuring that appropriate reviews and approvals are secured by set deadlines * Supporting sales across client segments Qualifications * Strong writing and editing background, with experience preferred in the RFP/RFI space and/or financial services * Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders * Results-driven and passionate about contributing to the firm's growth * Motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment and team * Highly organized and detail-oriented * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Bachelor's degree required * 3-5 years of experience preferred * Proficiency in RFP response software (e.g. Loopio) is a plus #LI-NB1 #BPDBA #LI-hybridWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
